A surprising retailer in Texas now closes more stores after filing for bankruptcy for the third time now.
Z Gallerie first opened in 1979 in Sherman Oaks, California and currently has 21 stores across the United States.
The retailer once had seven stores in Texas, but now there are just three.

Z Gallerie currently has up to 70% off its items on its website after announcing its permanent closure nationside.
“All stores will run to the end of the year or until they run out of inventory, whatever comes sooner,” the company said in an official statement.
According to the latest bankruptcy filing, the business is running out of cash due to “underperforming retail stores, adverse macroeconomic trends, and industry-specific headwinds.”
The business also filed for bankruptcy in 2009 and 2019 marking its third year in 2023.
“Even though our retail stores are closing, our signature Z Gallerie style is available to you, our valued customers, 24/7 via our online channel so you can continue to get lost in the details and turn your home into a work of art,” the company stated on Instagram.
The liquidation sales are being run by B. Riley Financial in its capacity as a retail consultant in connection with the Chapter 11 bankruptcy of DirectBuy Home Improvement Inc., which is the corporate name for the company that owns Z Gallerie.

“Saw a bunch 10ish $1 debits and credits to my transaction history, while trying to figure out why my card was being declined at AT&T while I paid my T-Mobile bill while waiting on a response from AT&T.

Many Chase customers were not able to complete their purchases during Black Friday deals due to the banks technical difficulties.
