A Chino High School teacher has gone viral after freaking out over a student wearing a Trump hat, stating “I don’t care, let them fire the hell out of me. I am fighting for my daughter, my wife, their rights.”
A well-known teacher at Chino High School may be facing consequences after his intense reaction to a student wearing a Trump hat gained traction on social media.
The incident occurred the day after Trump’s election win, when the student wore the hat.
The teacher was recorded saying, “I’m pissed, people voting for a rapist. I am pissed off! Turn it off and go back to your freaking seat now!
Go, take that… can you send security up please, I have a boy who has a Trump hat on and I am not going to tolerate it.”
He further expressed, “I don’t care, let them fire the hell out of me.
I am fighting for my daughter, my wife, their rights.”
Chino Valley Unified President Sonja Shaw confirmed the authenticity of the video and noted that other school districts are encountering similar situations.
Shaw labeled the teacher’s outburst as “unacceptable” and echoed the concerns of parents who felt his reaction was inappropriate.
Parent Oscar Avila remarked, “God knows what this teacher could be capable of doing in a fit of rage.
You cannot scream at a kid, call someone names over a political issue.
That’s wrong.
I don’t mind kids being corrected but in the proper way, not over some political stuff.”
While the school has a dress code that addresses indecent exposure or hate speech, Shaw stated that a Trump hat “is not out of code.”
She noted, “We had many students wearing t-shirts supporting both sides of the political debate in several schools without issue.”
Shaw mentioned that she cannot disclose what actions the teacher might face, but reassured that they are addressing the matter.
She added, “if this teacher unfortunately has to be the example of what not to do, we need to move forward…and bring our kids together.
Respecting each other, be it political issues or anything else.”
The teacher, who has had no prior incidents during his years at the school, has not responded to requests for comment, according to FOX LA.

The Chino community have expressed their concerns on social media with the teacher’s reaction towards the student.
“Sorry but the teacher failed at his job.
What a lost opportunity to teach students how to engage in this process.
The only thing he taught was it’s ok to have a hissy fit instead of addressing why his candidate lost and what could have been done differently.
Encourage critical thinking,” says one resident.
In a related incident, a teacher from Moreno Valley High School was placed on administrative leave last week after a similar outburst in class.
Officials from the Moreno Valley Unified School District confirmed that the educator is on leave while an investigation is conducted.
