A US Bank Is Now Stealing Customers Money
A US bank is now stealing customers money in what appears to be a blatant fraud scheme that locks users from their accounts after making deposits.
Green Dot Bank is now facing fraud allegations from various customers who have been locked out of their account from several weeks to even months.
A Green Dot Bank customer who wishes to remain anonymous reached out to FrankNez to share their story.
“I found your info after reading your blog on the Green dot bank pending lawsuits.
I opened my account in June and received deposits in July through August totaling 2300+ dollars.
It’s October and I still haven’t received my money, I was even assigned a case number, gained access to the account after rigorous verification questioning only to be locked out of my account again and call disconnected because I couldn’t recall an old email on my account after they had been on the phone with me for close to an hour.
I’ve had no choice but to contact FDIC because I’m injured can’t work and I’m backed up in bills.”
Many customers are having difficulty receiving a direct response from the bank’s customer service department, with many claiming to have been given the runaround.
“It been a month and I still haven’t been able to get my money from Walmart green dot. I have asked for a replacement card 4 times and haven’t got a card yet. My rent is due for last month and this month. I think they’re trying to keep my money,” says Marzell Land, another Green Dot Bank victim.
Customers affected by Green Dot Bank fraud should report to the FDIC and Better Business Bureau.
Scammers have lent out ‘support’ emails on forums meant to trick users into contacting the bank’s support team — these are fake.
Retirees Are Being Affected
Beth Williams, 78, says she’s been a WMC cardholder for 10 years now and has been unable to gain access to her WMC/Green account.
What’s more alarming is that prior to the bank freezing the retiree’s account, who says lives on Social Security, she noticed two unauthorized charges prior to reaching out to the bank.
“Since August 4th I have been unable to access my WMC debit card account. On August 3rd I noticed 2 unauthorized charges & immediately contacted WMC/Green. My account had to be frozen per CS/ RESOLUTION dept.
I have been calling and spending hours on hold to reach CS trying to find out when my expedited replacement card is arriving! CS has given to me 4 extended dates when I’ll get my replacement card.
The flimsy CS explanations: 1st-upgrade system & 2nd having technical difficulties! I was told today by CS that the card is to arrive on or before August 27th, and by standard mailing. I am panicking and afraid that I’m being lied to,” she reported to FrankNez.
“I had my check go to this account and now my $2,500 dollars is gone.
They have told me from Tuesday they would refund me. Do Not Use this fake bank!!!!!!
WE need to report them to BBB Crooks in real life @GO2bank. Was on the phone for two hours, NOTHING,” reports Lori Chong.
The bank, which has 33 million customers, initially said account balances and transactions were impacted by an issue with a payment processing partner.
Now, the bank says its systems are fully up and running – but customers say the problems persist.

I’ve been having multiple problems with my bank which is MidFirst Bank in edmond Oklahoma. With my savings and checking accounts. They keep giving me the run around. I have bank statements to prove they are in the wrong. What do I do? Loss of a bunch of money, now they say they have been compromised by someone who now has customers names, bank account numbers, social security numbers and other information. They suggest customers hire a firm to protect us. Why are they not responsible? Why do they not return my money that they stole from me and obviously will be stealing? I’m a widower, my wife died 2 years ago and I know nothing of banking rules or anything along them lines. Who do I report them to?
