AMC’s Stock Chart Now Has To Break Major Key Level
AMC Entertainment stock (NYSE:AMC) is at a juncture point where it now has to break a key level to see continuation towards the upside.
Zooming out into the yearly chart, and AMC stock is right at that $3 range it was just a year ago.
The stock will need to break past this $3 range for investors to see significant upside potential again.
In the past month alone, AMC stock has hit over $3.30 respectively, before retesting the $3.00 range and catching buy orders between $2.70-$2.90.
The week of 10/12 was the company’s first losing week — only 1.69% — after two weeks of consecutive gains.
Switching over AMC’s stock chart to its 6-month view and you’ll see a clear bullish trajectory.
Retail investors will need to raise that average trading volume of 31,011,170 to trigger the momentum required to capitalize on gains.
Latest News on AMC Stock
AMC CEO Adam Aron has recently been at war with Robinhood over the platform’s tokenization of AMC shares.
The CEO is now making claims of a ‘synthetic market’, following years of retail investors shedding light on shady market trading practices of AMC stock.
“I am not going away @vladtenev @DanGallagher,” Aron posted on X.
“AMC Entertainment does not consent to Robinhood creating Stock Tokens to replicate AMC shares in the United States (the SEC requires you to get our consent, or failing that, at least with us to stand down). They are fake, synthetic shares, which could impact our capital structure.
AMC should control our financial destiny, not Robinhood.”
Retail investors are urging the CEO to take legal action against Robinhood.
The feud started when Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev responded directly to Adam Aron’s post on X, “What’s the concern?”.
Aron didn’t hold back, stating:
“I find this practice to be contemptible, outrageous, disgusting, detestable, inexcusable, vile. How can it possibly be legal? We have no connection to this at all, and do not condone it in any way.
We immediately are going to have our outside securities counsel look into this.”
Aside from this market drama, the company recently got major upgrades.
Positive AMC Developments Paving the Way for Investors

On September 8, 2026, Fitch Ratings assigned AMC Entertainment and its companies a first-time Long-Term Issuer Default Ratings (IDRs) of ‘B-‘ with a “Positive Outlook”.
The company once speculated by Wall Street giants to go bankrupt due to the aftermath of the COVID19 pandemic is proving financial experts wrong yet again.
The rating reflects AMC’s leading market position, broad theater footprint, and strong exposure to premium formats, which support attendance, pricing, and operating leverage as the box office recovers, as reported by Fitch Ratings.
Why the upgrade?
The Positive Outlook reflects Fitch’s expectation for continued box office recovery, with performance approaching pre-pandemic levels and AMC’s ability to monetize attendance through pricing and concessions, supporting revenue growth and margin expansion.
In July 2026, S&P Global Ratings upgraded AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc. credit rating to ‘B-‘ from ‘CCC+’ due to improved operating performance, lowered debt, and a recovering box office.
Just two days before the Fitch Ratings went public, Aron gave another finger to critics.
He stated, “August 2026 had the highest industry-wide domestic box office grosses for any month of August since record keeping started 50 years ago. See for yourself: https://boxofficemojo.com
Experts moronically predicting movie theatres were dead?
What a total crock of – – – – !”
For now, AMC’s fundamentals have improved drastically alongside a recovering box office.
As for AMC’s stock chart, it remains bullish. Let me know in the comments section down below where you see AMC stock going from here.
