A fashion chain now makes a surprising closure in Pennsylvania, leaving customers with two weeks of up to 80% off items.
The fashion retailer Ardene has launched a massive sale as it prepares to close its only branch in the Lehigh Valley region of northeastern Pennsylvania.
This closure at Lehigh Valley Mall in Allentown will leave just two other Ardene stores in the whole of Pennsylvania.
These other branches are located in Philadelphia and Lancaster, per The US Sun.
Ardene has a total of 250 stores across the world but this branch is set to close in less than two weeks, reports the outlet.
The store’s official last date has been penned for July 28, according to a sign on the location’s window, according to local news station WFMZ.
This closure has been paired with a “major blowout sale,” which has offered fans between 70% and 80% off of all clothing.
All of these sales are final, so shoppers have been warned they will not be able to return any sale goods they buy.
These major deals have also meant all footwear will be priced at $2 and a huge accessory deal is underway.
Lucky shoppers could grab 10 accessories for $10 in the next few days.
Customers should note that the changing rooms at this store are closed.
Some locals shared their excitement about this huge sale, in the comments of a Facebook post.
“Let’s go,” one person wrote as they tagged their friend.
“Everyone loves a good clearance sale though,” they added.
Ardene has not been the only retailer to close one of its mall locations, The U.S. Sun has previously reported.
The popular fashion chain Rainbow Shops has also offered shoppers a big 40% discount of all items as it gets ready to close its doors.
It will say goodbye to its branch in the Hamilton Mall in Hamilton, New Jersey, around 15 miles west of Atlantic City.

A beloved grocery chain now confirms unexpected closures across the Northeast taking place by the end of the year.
Grocery chain Stop & Shop has announced that a total of 32 underperforming locations will shutter in the U.S.
The company said the select stores across the Northeast will be closed before the end of the year.
Stores in New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, and Rhode Island will close by November 2.
In May, the company announced the coming store closures.
“Stop & Shop has evaluated its overall store portfolio and made the difficult decision to close underperforming stores to create a healthy base for the future growth of our brand,” company president Gordon Reid said, per a July 12 press release.
The company’s president added that the closures were essential “to create a healthy base for the future growth of our brand.”
Fortunately, employees will be offered other positions within the company, according to a press release.
The grocery outlet first opened in 2014 and currently has around 400 stores and 60,000 employees, per Fox affiliate KRLD.
Stop & Shop is owned by Ahold Delhaize which also owns Food Lion, Giant Food, and Hannaford.
Which grocery stores are closing?
In New Jersey, 10 locations will close, while only seven will close in New York.
Rhode Island will see two closures and Massachusetts, the home of the first location, will be closing eight.
Five stores will also be closing in Connecticut.
As other chains such as Walmart and Amazon join the grocery business, it has pushed traditional grocery stores out of view, reports The-Sun.
Stop & Shop hopes the closure of underperforming stores will create “future growth” for the company.
