Ripple CEO Brand Garlinghouse Now Says the “Trump bull market is real”, stating the massive shift taking place following the resignation of SEC Chair Gary Gensler.
“2025 is here and the Trump bull market is real.
For Ripple, this is even more personal after Gensler’s SEC effectively froze our business opportunities here at home for years.
The optimism is obvious and very deserved,” Garlinghouse posted on X, formerly Twitter.
XRP has gained much attention after the cryptocurrency surged from $0.50 to over $2.70 in 2024.
The price of XRP is currently trading around $2.43 at the time of this writing, with many in the crypto market and industry predicting it will reach new all-time highs this year.
XRP’s price action has led to a bull flag pattern, signaling a major move towards the upside is imminent.
Crypto analysts predict XRP will hit anywhere between $4 and $6 during its next runup.
Fueled by new developments, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse highlights a few exciting things happening under President Trump.
“Today:
✅75% of Ripple’s open roles are now US-based, while over the last 4 years, the vast majority of hires were outside the US [.]
✅We signed more US deals in the last six weeks of 2024 (since the election) than the previous six MONTHS [.]
Team Trump is already jumpstarting innovation and job growth in the US with Scott Bessent, David Sacks, Paul Atkins and others at the helm, and they aren’t even in office yet!
Say what you want, but the “Trump effect” is already making crypto great again – through his campaign, and in the Administration’s day 1 priorities.
This isn’t the only time Ripple’s CEO has expressed optimism in the crypto markets.
On Friday, Brad Garlinghouse stated to his 1 million followers on X, “Today, here in the US, we welcomed the 119th Congress—better known as the most pro-crypto Congress in history.”
“The journey is just beginning, but you can’t deny the energy & excitement already building across the industry.
Let’s get to work,” he continued.
