Is Reddit Down? Yes. Reddit is currently down. Hundreds of thousands of users are now reporting an outage per Down Detector.
Several users started reporting a Reddit outage around 12:50pm on Wednesday 8/28.
When visiting Reddit.com, users are displayed an error message stating “Sever error. Try again later.”
“We were unable to load the content for this page.”
Reddit users are experiencing an outage primarily on the app — 60% of the most reported problems.
Another 27% report the Reddit website is down.
And another 13% are having issues with Reddit’s server.
Is Reddit fixing this issue? Yes.
Reddit Status @redditstatus said on X, formerly known as Twitter, that they have identified the problem and are now actively working on getting Reddit back up and running.
UPDATE: As of 1:49PM PST, Reddit is now live again.
