The collision occurred at approximately 6:52 p.m. on Sunday in the 900 block of North Coast Highway 101, as confirmed by local law enforcement authorities.

According to preliminary reports, the woman was struck by what is believed to be a light-colored SUV while she was in the roadway.
Eyewitness accounts suggest that the driver of the SUV did not stop to assist and fled the scene immediately after the impact.

Victim’s Condition and Medical Response
Following the collision, the victim was transported to a nearby hospital for emergency medical treatment.
Unfortunately, despite the efforts of medical personnel, she succumbed to her injuries shortly thereafter.
