Who Should Go To College?
Put it this way. If you plan on working for someone for the rest of your life, college is your best bet. This is in no way criticizing the decision to work under someone. The world needs great doctors, amazing teachers, intellectual scientists, & creative engineers. Of course, not everyone working for someone requires a college degree (police officers, construction workers, etc.); however, a career with a degree will certainly yield higher income than a working career without a degree.

It is important to understand that no matter what degree you pursue, your income will be limited due to playing it safe. If the thought of benefits, 401k plan, and $80K a year is comforting, college could be a great way to work towards this lifestyle and goal.
Who Isn’t College For?
If you have entrepreneurship skills and have thought about starting your own business some day, college might not be the best route for you. You already have creative ideas on how to make money for yourself. Unlike other careers, there are no limits to how much money you can earn. The only thing getting in your way of reaching insane amounts of success is yourself.
A financially literate entrepreneur has also figured out going into debt for a business degree is just not worth it as his or her success is heavily based on experience and self taught skills oppose to a degree. For a true entrepreneur, self education has much more value than a college education.
We All Have Different Visions
Don’t let those who surround you influence your decision on whether to go to college or not.
