XRP is now about to gain more massive liquidity as more institutions get ready to offer clients exposure through upcoming ETFs.
Recently, Wisdom Tree filed for a spot XRP ETF, which is partly what is fueling the cryptocurrency’s price action today.
Wisdom Tree currently has $100 billion assets under management (AUM), which means that once approved for an ETF, XRP’s market capital will get flooded with more liquidity.
Like Bitcoin, an XRP ETF will provide the financial markets with more exposure and adoption to Ripple XRP.
Wisdom Tree is now the fourth institution to file an XRP ETF.
Crypto strategist and investor Levi tells his 154,000 subscribers on YouTube that we can expect to see more of these developments come to fruition after Trump officially takes office in January, following the departure of Gary Gensler.
Trump’s administration is full of pro-crypto individuals, leading industry leaders to speculate the biggest bull market for crypto is about to take place very soon.
XRP’s current price surges can be seen as investors simply positioning themselves for some big adoption never seen before.
There are rumors circulating social media platforms that banks have already set a price for XRP in the 4-digits but are waiting for a few developments to go through.
While these are simply rumors from insiders, it’s important to take this information in with a grain of salt.
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has also expressed positive sentiment in the crypto market following Gensler’s resignation announcement stating, “all the boats rise”.
Garlinghouse also had incredibly positive words to share about Trump’s Treasury Secretary nominee Scott Bessent, stating:

While the entire crypto industry is poised to tread higher levels as we move into 2025, XRP stands out as a winner amongst cryptocurrencies.
On December 2, 2024, XRP became the #3 top cryptocurrency in the space.
Now investors are predicting XRP will flip Ethereum as the crypto asset’s developments start coming to fruition.
